I have been looking for a way to make laundry detergent at home, so I can save money. I am currently fortunate enough to use my mother-in-law's luxurious Gain detergent, but in the future I will need ways to slash our budget. Over at Green Willow Pond, I found a fabulous recipe for just what I need.
2 cups washing soda
2 cups Borax
1 cup Oxiclean
2 bars Ivory soap (finely grated)
I think that making laundry soap actually sounds like so much fun. Does that make me a dork?
